Bones

Daylight, regular exercise and vital substances –
the recipe for healthy and firm bones

KnochenThe key to healthy and strong bones is on the one hand regular exercise – physical strain on the bones – and on the other hand a varied diet full of vital substances. So that more nutrients may be stored in the bone, the locomotor system must be used.

The control systems of the metabolism must be activated at the same time so that the bones can be built. Apart from the well-known substances calcium and vitamin D, a whole range of other vital substances are involved in the metabolism of the bones. Among these are also the B vitamins, folic acid and vitamin B12 - for osseous density - and vitamin C, which is involved in building and maintaining bones.
